Quint Corp. was established in 1985, and has been active in developing software for computational mechanics and have worked extensively on various CAE technologies with Prof. N. Kikuchi of The University of Michigan. They were the first to develop adaptive finite element method with topology optimization using the homogenization method. These technologies have resulted in the OPTISHAPE commercial software for optimization.
