ELOP is a procedure for electronically processing customer orders directly from their ERP systems. Using a specialized conversion method, customer‑specific order data is extracted from order files and processed electronically, enabling orders to be placed directly from the ERP system without the need for costly EDI connections. Orders created in the ERP system or manually are sent to a dedicated Siemens email address. A defined email subject line identifies the customer and triggers the tailored conversion process. The incoming order is then converted and processed internally, ensuring a smooth and efficient electronic ordering workflow.

EDIFACT (Electronic Data Interchange for Administration, Commerce and Transport) is an industry‑neutral, international standard for the electronic exchange of business data between the IT systems of customers and suppliers. This EDI standard is particularly suitable for companies with their own ERP systems and includes common message types such as ORDERS (purchase order), ORDRSP (order response), DESADV (dispatch advice) and INVOIC (invoice).

Using EDIFACT, Siemens can electronically receive and send these documents. The implementation time depends on the depth of integration and the customer‑specific setup and ranges from about one month to several months.

Our application enables authorized, fast, and transparent processing of returns and complaints, allowing you to monitor the status of your goods and the progress of the process at any time. Conditions for Returns

  • The return request has been fully completed in the form, including the reason for the return.
  • The goods were purchased directly from Siemens, are in their undamaged, unmarked and uncontaminated original packaging, and are not older than 8 weeks (based on the delivery date).
  • No customer‑specific items are being returned, including individually labeled or technically customized products, special productions, inner packaging units, promotional packaging, certified sensors, as well as water, heat, and cooling meters.
  • The net value of the returned goods is at least € 100.00.
  • A processing fee of 20% of the net value is generally charged for returns.
  • For returns to the central warehouse, the return ID and invoice number must be indicated on the return slip.
