Earlier this year, cyber criminals broke into the systems of Capita. This resulted in a limited amount of unauthorised access to data held on their servers. Please note, this is a Capita issue which has affected a large number of pension schemes, it’s not Siemens-specific.

Unfortunately, the Siemens Benefits Scheme Trustee recently received confirmation that some Investor Plan and Electrium Pension Scheme data may have been accessed as a result of this incident. Click below to read more.

Major changes to pensions tax allowances

A pension scam is when someone tries to con you out of your pension money. Scammers design attractive offers to persuade you to transfer your pension pot to them or to release funds from it.
