The Act is intended to promote companies' respect for fundamental human rights and decent working conditions in connection with the production of goods and the provision of services, and to ensure public access to information on how companies deal with negative consequences for fundamental human rights and decent working conditions.

Siemens AS is covered by the Transparency Act and is therefore obliged to carry out a due diligence assessment. Siemens AS's due diligence report under the Transparency Act is published every year on this website.
