Extend payment terms

With Siemens EPT, you decide when to pay the invoice within the 180 days. You have complete flexibility within this time frame and can arrange payment according to your customers' payment terms. The fees are calculated for you on a daily basis.

Extended payment terms increase your liquidity. You can pay amounts due much later and therefore have to make fewer advance payments. Ideally, you only pay your invoice once your customer has already paid, meaning you have already realized the corresponding revenue.*

With extended payment terms of up to 180 days, you have a source of cash flow optimization and working capital that expands your existing agreements. The use of Siemens EPT is a completely bank-independent and unsecured supplement to your credit lines.*

The Siemens Extended Payment Terms service is available to you for the qualified product portfolio of Siemens AG – including selected services that are not invoiced in advance. To use the extended payment terms, simply activate the Siemens EPT option during your ordering process, for example on SiePortal.*

When you decide to take advantage of the extended payment terms, we will set up a non-binding purchase limit for you. You can use this as needed. The fees and final invoice are always based on the amount actually used. We would be happy to consider increasing your non-binding purchase limit.*

The extended payment terms allow you to settle due receivables at a later date. This gives you greater liquidity and planning security. You only pay fees based on the payment agreement concluded with you. However, these fees are only incurred if you actually take advantage of the extended payment terms option.
