Chapter One: Rewiring the Rules of Medium Voltage
Chapter Two: Plug & Play Power
Data centers must scale smarter—balancing growth, resilience, regulation, and energy demands. Siemens and Compass Datacenters co-developed a modular skid integrating 8DJH 36 gas-insulated switchgear and an MV transformer, enabling faster, lower-cost builds to support cloud and hyperscale growth.

This solution is a powerful example of what this partnership will deliver to Compass customers in the years to come. Siemens 8DJH 36 solution delivers major efficiency and sustainability advantages that align with Compass’ strategic anchors and accelerates our timeline for projects.

To fit the Compass strategy of building modular data centers, Siemens worked to develop an all-in-one modular medium-voltage skid solution that houses all the critical distribution network components.

The Siemens 8DJH 36 is a compact, standalone RMU that is climate and environment independent. When configured with a transformer on a single skid, the 8DJH 36 provides unmatched space-saving.

To achieve rapid deployment and long-term durability of solutions, working together is essential. Siemens and Compass not only jointly developed the solution but also co-invested in production capacity.
