Waarom PDL?

De Process Device Library is een PLC-bibliotheek die verschillende sectoren bestrijkt. Het wordt gebruikt om automatiserings- en procesbesturingssystemen op te zetten voor gebieden zoals verwarming, ventilatie, airconditioning (HVAC), procesindustrie, biowetenschappen en voeding.

PDL is ontwikkeld voor het TIA Portal met S7-1500- en ET200 SP-controllers. De bijgevoegde Step 7-bibliotheek bevat alle I&C-functies voor de procesindustrie en gebouwautomatisering. Er is ook een verbinding met energietechnologiesystemen geïntegreerd. De kernfunctie is de automatische visualisatie van de componenten uit de S7-programmacode. Wat klinkt als een toekomstvisie, is al ontwikkeld door onze automatiseringsexperts in Zwitserland en Duitsland. De nieuwe Process Device Library zorgt niet alleen voor een gestandaardiseerde „look and feel”, maar ondersteunt ook de geautomatiseerde generatie van HMI- en SCADA-oplossingen.
