Here, Siemens Mobility is based, along with units from the Digital Industries and Smart Infrastructure divisions, as well as the research and development sector. The listed subsidiary Siemens Healthineers is also based here. A new, vibrant district is emerging on the former Siemens research site in the south of the city. The new southern district on the Siemens Campus

On approximately 14 hectares, a lively neighborhood with around 2,000 apartments for families, singles, and students is being built in the new southern district on the Siemens Campus in Erlangen. The district combines modern urban living with social infrastructure and sustainable construction.
