Three assignments. Two years. One incredible experience.
Over two eventful years, you’ll gain all the skills and knowledge you need to build a successful career at Siemens. The program is divided into three assignments, each lasting eight months. At least one of them will take you abroad to experience working in one of our 1,700 worldwide locations. Not only will you gain deep insights and gain invaluable experiences, but you will establish a network that will last an entire lifetime.
To determine the direction of your personal career path, you’ll get together with your mentor regularly to decide what your personal development program will look like The direction of your development will be determined based on your qualifications and personal interests.
It’s important to us that you’re put into the right department from day one, where you feel you can contribute to our activities. You’ll be actively integrated into the day-to-day business of our project teams, assuming full responsibility for the tasks assigned to you.

Section Manager of Factory

What do I need?
We’re looking for bright, inquisitive graduates with:
- A Master’s degree completed in the past three years, or about to be completed in the next six months.
- Fluency in Arabic and English: knowledge of further languages is desirable.
- International experience during an extended stay (minimum of six months) abroad.
- Relevant and practical work experience gained during or between your studies.

The program is currently running in China, France, Germany, India, the Middle East, the Netherlands, Spain, Singapore, Switzerland and the United States.
If the SGP is not available in your home country, or there are no open positions, you’re welcome to apply for it in Germany as this country welcomes international applications. You can also view your local careers page for other development programs or entry-level opportunities.
Being part of the Siemens Graduate Program means you’re a real Siemens employee with a regular employment contract. The conditions of this contract depend on local requirements and regulations. It’s important to point out that the SGP is not an internship program.
You’ll work within one of our divisions in at least two functional areas, such as product development and distribution, product management and marketing, manufacturing, project management, or procurement and logistics. Ultimately these are decided by your interests and qualifications as well as our business requirements will also influence your personal program.
Yes! Being a global company, the assignments abroad will prepare you for an important aspect of our culture. We’ll support you in selecting the best destination for your assignment abroad so you can get the most of it.
This greatly depends on your performance and interests during the program. You’ll discuss this with your mentor throughout and they’ll support you in your transition once the program comes to an end. You may be offered a position in your home country or abroad based on availability. We’ll support you in either an expert career, management career or project management career.
