Why SIVACON 8PS – LD system?

The air-insulated LD busbar trunking system supports reliable power distribution in many sectors and applications with high demand for electric power – irrespective of whether serving an entire wind farm, an individual exhibition hall, or a complex manufacturing facility. The system's compact design supports space-efficient infrastructure and flexible integration into different applications.

The system covers the current range from 1,100 A to 5,000 A. it also transmits direct currents up to 8,600 A.

Water protection and carbon dust tested

In the ventilated system (IP34), the epoxy coating of the conductors offers additional protection against water (sprinkler-suitable).

Protection for long busbar runs

A separate PE conductor increases the cross-section of the protective conductor and supports low impedance during faults, helping switching devices respond along longer busbar runs.

Direct current applications

With the LD system, you can transmit direct current up to 8,600 A.. Using so-called energy units with appropriate switching and protection devices, the direct current is simply tapped and led to the consumers.
