From assembly to fully digitalized production

The Siemens, s.r.o., Busbar Trunking Systems Branch was established in October 2010 through a merger with Siemens, s.r.o., and currently employs up to 400 people. Today, the plant operates largely digitally, from material ordering through production to dispatch. Up to 99% of its production is exported, primarily to Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria and Poland.

Key milestones

• 2005: Construction of a new production hall
• 2005 – 2008: Gradual transfer of busbar production from the United Kingdom, Germany, and Spain
• 2015: Launch of the new LI product line for the transport and distribution of electrical energy, especially for data centers of major internet giants or operations requiring IP55 protection
• 2020: Expansion of production to include in-house pre-production of components
• 2022: Commissioning of a testing facility for the certification of distribution (branch) boxes
• 2023: Installation of the first robotic workstation for welding aluminum components and initiation of a decarbonization project
• 2024: Assembly of units for SIVACON S8 switchgear
• 2026: Completion of the copper components manufacturing project

Currently, around 280 employees work in technologically advanced, fully air-conditioned facilities. Most employees are engaged in various operational roles, including material management, logistics, finance and production process control. Others contribute to research and development, ensure product and service quality or work in procurement.
