Back in 2000, Siemens was one of the first companies to offer an online platform for spare part orders. Easy Detect is the next evolutionary step: It brings part identification, stock availability, query, and ordering together in a single app. It lets you and your employees immediately identify the parts needed in rail operations, and helps save substantial processing costs.
All you do is photograph the defective part with your smartphone. The app analyzes the picture in real time and compares it with the Siemens Mobility spare part portfolio. Once it finds a match and identifies the part, you can order it online from the Rail Mall, seven days a week, around the clock.
The app automatically checks how many parts are in stock and shows you in real time. Then you just need to press a button to order. The part starts its high-speed journey to reach you anywhere in Europe within 24 hours, or anywhere in the world within 48 hours.
