In September 2014, the private rail operator AAF commissioned Siemens to deliver five four-car Viaggio Comfort trainsets. The trains are propelled by two Charger diesel locomotives.
The trains are equipped with on-board, electronic seat reservations, AlwaysConnected solutions for WLAN, and a cellular wireless network.
The first trainset for intercity traffic between Miami, West Palm Beach, and Orlando was delivered in December 2016.
In 2012, Siemens was commissioned by the Czech State Railways (ČD) to supply seven seven-car Railjet trains based on the Viaggio Comfort.
Each of these push/pull intercity trains has three classes – Business, First and Economy – and features a bistro/dining car and specific areas for families, business travelers, and people with special needs.
The Railjet trains reach a top speed of 230 km/h and are deployed on the Prague–Vienna–Graz cross-border line.
Between 2006 and 2014, the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) commissioned Siemens to deliver a total of 60 Railjet trainsets based on the Viaggio Comfort for IC traffic.

In June 2008, Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) ordered 121 low-floor, double-deck Viaggio Twin intermediate cars from the Siemens/Bombardier consortium.

The first of the trains manufactured in Vienna and Graz were delivered to Switzerland in early 2011.
In 2009, Siemens and local coach builder TVZ received an order for 200 modern Viaggio Classic sleeping cars from Russian Railways (RZD).
Each sleeping car features, among other things, eight sleeping compartments, each with four sleeper beds that can be converted into fully functional seats with headrests during the day.
Maximum speed is 200 km/h on 1,435 mm track gauge and 160 km/h on 1,520 mm track gauge.
In 2006 and 2010, Israel Railways placed two separate orders for a total of 118 Viaggio Low Floor single-story, push/pull passenger coaches.
The trains feature intermediate cars with barrier-free entrance and a wheelchair area with an elevator and universal toilet.
Power is supplied by a diesel generator set located in each PC cab car.
