Programming

For simple, convenient programming of SIMOTION applications, SCOUT offers fast access to all the necessary tools:

Manage projects

SCOUT includes all devices from the controller to the drives. In addition to common data management, the platform offers integrated library and comparison functions and provides you with convenient access to all editors via the project navigator.

Parametrization and configuration

SCOUT lets you configure axes and drives and create and optimize cam disks. For configuration, all technological objects (axes, cams, cam disks, etc.) are organized in a clear tree structure. Filters allow you to display user programs as needed. With the easy-to-use SIZER software, you can configure drives, motors, and even suitable cables.

Testing and commissioning

All values relevant for testing are recorded in real time. A Motion Control Chart (MCC) enables process monitoring via flow charts and provides information on program and variable status.

You can commission drives and optimize controllers directly from SCOUT, using straightforward watch tables for value monitoring.
