X-Ray, the beginning of medical imaging
In the 19th century, medicine constantly evolved. But there was a limit of a technical nature: Many injuries and diseases were still difficult to diagnose, let alone to treat. When Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen discovered X-rays, he changed the world. Siemens was one of the first companies to recognize the potential of these new kind of rays and started to develop their first X-ray machines.
