Miksi iBHMS for Battery Health Monitoring?

Provide UPS and individual battery health using proprietary algorithm that computes the health based on parameters such as voltage, internal impedance, temperature at the negative lead, ripple voltage. Monitor string level parameters such as Ah in/ Ah out, string voltage, string current, ripple current, discharge/charge duration, peak current during discharge/charge and other parameters such as cycle count, depth of discharge, ambient temperature

Solution can integrate with any smart UPS that communicate over Modbus RS485, Modbus over TCP/IP, TCP/IP & SNMP. It also monitors individual battery blocks through a battery voltage sensor(BVS). The BVS is a wireless sensor, meaning easy installation and maintenance.
Helps to defer CAPEX by replacing only the bad batteries in a battery string rather that replacing the entire battery string at the end of warranty (usually at end of warranty, all batteries are replaced without considering their remaining life). This is achieved by monitoring individual blocks.
Provides dashboards and reports which would include individual battery health, battery string health, discharge/charge duration, cycle count, depth of discharge, ambient room temperature and relative humidity. It also provides dashboards for the UPS based on the parameters read over protocol.

Sixth Energy Edge Node

The 6E Edge Node is an Advanced Controller Unit which can integrate with any Smart UPS at site over available protocol. The Edge Node collects parameters about the UPS health over protocol. The Controller also monitors the health of Battery Blocks using wireless Battery Voltage Sensors.

Wireless Battery Voltage Sensor

The wireless Battery Voltage Sensors connect to the leads of the batteries deployed at site and capture parameter of the battery Block Like voltage, internal impedance, temperature at the negative lead, ripple voltage. *Lugs and Cables to be procured as per battery requirement

Wireless Access Point

Wireless Access Point acts as a Data Aggregator collecting the data from the different wireless Battery Voltage Sensors over 2.4GHz. The data that is collected is then sent over to the 6E Edge Node which is equipped to send the data to the Sixth Energy Platform.

DC Current Transformer

The DC Current Transformer is a clamp-on Current Transformer used to measure direct current (DC) flowing through the Battery String. Depending upon the number of strings in the setup, the number of DC-CTs required will also vary.

PC Server

The 6th Energy Application is deployed in a PC Server in a local network. The Application is configured to poll the data from all connected iBHMS deployments in the local network. Depending upon the data size being polled, PC server is sized. * Each deployment can also send data directly to cloud.
