Miksi Design once, use everywhere?

The Horizon Suite is a collection of powerful, versatile desktop graphical tools:
two main SW tools:
1) The LibraryManager for configuration
2) The TrackPlanner for assisted drawing and data preparation
that simplify and boost the daily work of the target users (Railway Engineers, Signalling Experts, …) in several processes and operations within a railway signalling system’s project life-cycle, ensuring data consistency and traceability.

Using Horizon Suite enables the Client to achieve measurable gains in engineering efficiency and data reliability. Leveraging on a model-based data management, operators and suppliers can digitalise and validate in a common framework fragmented legacy data.

• Easily and error-freely designing railway infrastructures, encompassing all the different entities with their attributes
• Managing in an aided way the data preparation process for railway safety applications

User-friendly

The Suite tools have been designed and developed by railway engineers, having in mind the daily routine of the Stakeholders (Infrastructure Managers, Technology Suppliers, System Integrators, Engineering Consultancy Firms). It provides hints and checks for an error-free and consistent design.

Modular, Expandable & Customisable (SDK)

The modular architecture of D4R::Horizon Suite leverages on a variety of software components and plug-ins (general purpose or custom) that can be added to the main modules and combined to enable the deployment of targeted solutions that are completely customizable according to the user’s needs

Interoperable

All data managed by the Suite can be imported or exported in various formats (XML, CSV, railML®), as well as PDF or JPG.
The SDK enables the creation of custom import/export formats and the addition of new functionalities.

OS-independent

• The solution is a desktop-based one, typically on Windows workstation, but other OSes can be supported.
• It makes use of a best-of-breed licensing server (Thales Gemalto Sentinel), using a Concurrent Users (Seats) approach.
