The FM MAG 3100 is made of carbon steel (or AISI 304), with corrosion-resistant, two-component epoxy coating or AISI 316 L polished flanges and housing, to withstand special process conditions using extreme measurement electrodes.
The SITRANS FM MAG 3100 is an electromagnetic flow sensor designed for a perfect fit for almost every flow application. Its wide variety of magmeter liners and electrodes ensures adaptability for various process needs. Unique SensorProm technology allows for simple, flexible commissioning, while the rugged, fully welded construction ensures durability.
The Plug & Play design, with compact or separate installation, allows easy on-site replacement and commissioning of the transmitter. And MAG on-site verification with traceable certification makes service and diagnostics simple.
The FM MAG 3100 is a universal electromagnetic flow sensor with lining and electrodes available for every application. It’s approved for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, with a high temperature version up to 356°F.
Our integrated platform enables flexible use of the MAG 5000/6000 transmitter for all products (MAG 5100/3100/1100).

Our leading SensorProm technology stores critical, sensor-specific data and passes it to the transmitter. The flow sensor is also “hot swappable,” or able to be exchanged during operation.
Validated calibration ensures accurate flow measurement. Each Siemens flowmeter is calibrated in facilities that are individually accredited to ISO / IEC 17025.
