The AI-powered SITRANS Soft Sensor Engine IQ (SITRANS SSE IQ) is a virtual measurement technology combining a unique AI approach and process expertise for a broad range of applications without the need of having a dedicated physical sensor.

SSE IQ collects existing measurement data, combines it to a data network and identifies correlations. Using historical plant data, deep process know-how from Siemens and artificial intelligence, a process model is created, which can simulate the measurement of a sensor virtually in real time.

This soft sensor can act as a backup measurement or even replace physical sensors. It increases process performance by up to 100% availability and minimal operating costs by reducing service efforts.
