The HB3 is a generator switchgear that uses SF6-free vacuum switching technology for applications in power plants up to 400 MW. Reduce operational expenditure with its maintenance-free vacuum technology, rated for up to 10,000 operating cycles. It is the world’s first and unique generator switchgear to use this technology for short circuit ratings up to 110 kA.

In designing the Siemens HB3 generator circuit-breaker, we always had one goal in mind: to make it more sustainable in every way possible. So, we adapted its technology, established responsible supply chain management, and found a way to make up for any emissions that we can’t avoid yet.
