The SIRIUS 3RM1 motor starter delivers full switching and protection for small motors up to 3 kW in a compact 22.5 mm housing. Available in direct-on-line and reversing configurations — including models with integrated safety functionality — it uses durable and energy-saving hybrid switching technology. The unit carries IEC, CCC and UL certifications for global deployment.
One device combines several functions, such as direct-on-line starting, reversing starting and overload protection. Plus, group configuration can achieve short-circuit protection up to 55 kA with just one motor starter protector.
Our hybrid switching technology uses low-wear semiconductors for switching the motor on and off. In the operating phase, energy-saving relay technology results in durable starters and a high level of energy efficiency.
Handle infeed in the main circuit for several motor starters quickly and simply via a special infeed system. They are connected to one another by means of a three-phase busbar with a minimum of wiring.
Motor starters are available as direct starters or with a reversing starter function, all in a uniform housing design. The operation, configuration and width for both device types are identical.
SIRIUS 3RM1 motor starters are available in a safety version for locally limited safety applications. For safe shutdowns, they are available as direct and reversing starters and are certified in accordance with SIL 3/PL e Cat. 4.
Every SIRIUS 3RM1 motor starter is equipped with integrated electronic overload protection, so you no longer need a separate overload relay. That means lower wiring costs, shorter installation times and more room on the DIN rail.
