SIMATIC ET 200SP makes safety-related applications very easy. The safety modules for DI and DO correspond to the size of the standard modules. Their functional safety is certified according to EN 61508.

The SIMATIC ET 200SP IO-Link Master enables consistent storage of the IO-Link Device and Master parameters. This makes it possible to exchange modules, whether master or device, without a programming device and without backup of the data. With SIMATIC ET 200SP stations, hot swapping is also possible with several modules (Multi Hot Swapping). This allows several modules to be removed and replaced simultaneously during operation.

The SIMATIC ET 200SP shielding concept covers the conductor, the terminal box, the backplane bus, and the PROFINET cable. It ensures the greatest possible electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and increases the signal quality.

With a height of approx. 115 mm, the system provides space for 16 channels with a single-line connection (without AUX terminals). At a 3-wire connection with AUX terminals, the height amounts to 140 mm for 8 channels. The depth amounts to approx. 75 mm.

Thanks to the push-in terminal, you do not require a tool while wiring and only a screwdriver when removing the cable.
