bbv has developed the Swiss LCDM Hub as a central platform for data exchange from common data environments to facility management. The platform not only facilitates bi-directional data synchronizationbut also ensures quality management. This allows you to get buildings up and running faster and ensure that cleaning, maintenance, and changes are up to date in both facility management and BIM models (CDE).

A digital twin of the building also brings clear benefits later in the building's lifecycle – for example, in facility management, sustainability issues, or change management.

GTO schema definition (Generic Transfer Object)

The GTO reflects the common data object (like room, aircon, ...) structure for all connected systems. It can be configured by business people using no-code/low-code configuration.

Mapper for participant and GTO

The mapper allows to map attributes from participant to GTO. It supports 1-to-many relations, data harmonization like string handling, calculation, as well as regex. It also supports quality rules to validate the data. It can be configured by business people using no-code/low-code configuration.

Mapping & quality rules

Mapping & quality rules are data conversion/- validation rules, which can be attached to a data mapping. Mapping tables are like 'if' tables where you can specify undefined value conversions like 1 -> A or 2 -> B... A quality rule verifies values, value ranges, sensitive data detection & patterns.

Relation finder

Relation finder can verify a data element from another GTO. With this, you can ensure data harmonization and enforce data standardization to support norms or internal standards.

Quality control center (QCC)

In the QCC data quality, you can see GTO data objects. You can see data source values, data conversion in the GTO, as well as target values. It supports quality control by releasing releasing the state of an attribute or using mass update and state approval handling.

IFC Merge IFC Reader/Writer

Once you receive an IFC for a building, you have the challenge of how to keep the model up to date with reconstructions. With the IFC merger, you can merge sub-models into the base, which saves remodeling efforts. With the IFC reader/writer you can update IFC standard values and P-Sets.

Reporting and Data Warehouse (DWH)

The sum of GTO objects reflects the staging of data. The Swiss LCDM Hub provides an instance as a DWH for reporting and controlling. The product provides instruments to create a semantic layer with ETL data transfer and cleansing. There is an integration Excel Services and MS-Power BI Product.

User & role management

The Swiss LCDM Hub provides a user/role and permission framework to handle authorization and security "read, update and delete" (CRUD) for all features within the product.

Revit / IFC Exporter

The Swiss LCDM Hub provides and exporter where you can convert from IFC to Revit and vice versa. This enables you to work whit planners and author using CAD systems.

2D Exporter and Updater

We provide functionality to convert 3D models to 2D models. 2D models often have a so-called object (e.g., room) stamp. The updater functionality can put the needed GTO attribute information into the stamp details.
