In addition to its central Hamburg office, Siemens operates an important service, repair and manufacturing workshop for switchgear and electric machines in the Rothenburgsort district, serving industrial and maritime sectors. The Rothenburgsort site is also home to the Northern Vocational Training Centre of Siemens Professional Education (SPE), as well as the sales and service units of Siemens Mobility GmbH (transport technology).
