Why Common Import Converter?
The Common Import Converter enables users to import the full set of available datapoints offline from engineering tools, such as the TIA Portal for Siemens connectors.
To configure devices using the Common Configurator, you must first convert device-specific configuration files into IIH compatible configuration files. The Common Import Converter performs this conversion automatically.
When the Common Configurator receives a device-specific configuration file, it send the file to the Common Import Converter, which converts it into a format compatible with Industrial Information Hub (IIH).
A subscription for this Industrial Edge App entitles you to create one single instance of this Industrial Edge App on an Industrial Edge Device.
