Why SINEC Security Monitor?

Security monitoring during production: An interruption during production can quickly cause high financial losses. But how can you control your security network while your machines are running? That’s where SINEC Security Monitor comes in – the software for passive, non-intrusive, continuous on-premise security monitoring during production. With it, you create transparency over all network participants and network topologies. SINEC Security Monitor is already in use in many Siemens plants. So you can also benefit from our OT expertise!

Key benefits

Increased Security 24/7

Around-the-clock security monitoring of industrial OT networks reduces the risk of potential cyberattacks. It improves security in processes in accordance with governmental regulations.

Zero interruption to running production

Software for passive, non-intrusive, continuous on-premises security monitoring during production ensures maximum security. Your data stays entirely on your premises at all times.

Tailored to OT-networks and regulatory requirements

Analysis of network traffic enables asset identification, AI-based anomaly detection, and OT-focused SIEM with interfaces to existing systems. Visibility is tailored to OT needs and governmental regulations.

Flexible modular concept

Modular offering based on the amount of monitored assets and functional requirements is essential for a state-of-the art security concept. Flexibility and low entry costs are ensured through the term license concept.

Featured capabilities

Passive asset discovery & vulnerability mapping

Gain complete visibility into OT assets without disrupting operations. By passively monitoring network traffic and endpoint activity, SINEC Security Monitor automatically builds a detailed asset inventory with device information and status. Known cybersecurity vulnerabilities (CVEs) are mapped to Siemens and third-party assets, enabling rapid risk identification and prioritization using CVSS severity ratings.
