TwinMesh™ is a stand-alone grid generator, complementary to Simcenter STAR-CCM+. In combination, TwinMesh™ and Simcenter STAR-CCM+ allow users to perform reliable and efficient CFD simulation of rotary PD machines such as scroll and screw compressors, roots blowers, lobe, vane, and gear pumps, as well as vacuum pumps and progressive cavity pumps. TwinMesh™ generates high-quality hexahedral numerical grids for the rotating working chambers of a PD machine and delivers a fully automated workflow for simulation setup in Simcenter STAR-CCM+.

TwinMesh generates automatically high quality hexahedral grids for the rotating working chambers of rotary positive displacement machines such like screw, scroll, vane, and gear machines. In combination with Simcenter STAR-CCM+ it allows to perform reliable and accurate CFD simulation.

Automatic hex-mesh generation for all rotor position prior to the simulation

All required meshes for the discretization are generated automatically. Also a check of the numercial quatilty of all grids is possible prior to the simulation.

Fully automatic setup generation for Simcenter STAR-CCM+

Beside automatic mesh generation and mesh import handling during a simulation run TwinMesh exports also a complete ready-to-run setup for Simcenter STAR-CCM+. A workflow demonstration is included in this offering page.
