You may have benefits in one of the Plans below and have since joined the defined contribution section. Please note that all these Plans are now closed to new employees.

Chemfeed Plan

You were a member of the Veolia Plan whose benefits were transferred to the Chemfeed Plan with effect from 30 November 2004. No pensionable service has been built up since 30 November 2004.

Electric Plan

You were Eastern members, East Midland members, Grid members or Seeboard members.

Foundation, Saver and Booster Plan

You were a permanent employee who commenced service before 1 October 2002. The Foundation, Saver and Booster Plan closed on 31 December 2007.

Horizon Plan

You were a member of the Schroders Retirement Benefits Scheme on 30 June 2001 and joined the Horizon Plan on 1 July 2001. The Horizon Plan closed on 31 December 2007.

Saver Plan Plus

You were an employee whose employment was transferred to the Company and immediately before the date of transfer you were either a member of (or were entitled to become a member of) the Principal Civil Service Pension Scheme...

Siemens Building Technologies Retirement Benefits (SBT)

This scheme was merged with the Legacy Plan between September 2009 and February 2010. You stopped building up pensionable service under one of these schemes on 31 December 2007.

Siemens Magnet Technology Pension Scheme (SMT)

This scheme was merged with the Legacy Plan between September 2009 and February 2010. You stopped building up pensionable service under one of these schemes on 31 December 2007.

Tower Plan

You were an employee who was a contributing member or a waiting period member of the BBC Pension Scheme and whose employment transferred from the BBC to Siemens Business Services Ltd on or after 30 September 2004.

VAI Industries (UK) Limited Pension Scheme (VAI)

This scheme was merged with the Legacy Plan between September 2009 and February 2010. You stopped building up pensionable service under one of these schemes on 31 December 2007.

Siemens Fire, Safety and Security Pension Scheme (PFP)

This scheme was merged with the Legacy Plan in September 2020. You stopped building up pensionable service in the PFP Scheme on 31 December 2007.

Electrium Plan

This section is for all former members of the Electrium Pension Scheme. Including, those of the Hanson Industrial Pension Scheme whose benefits were transferred to the Electrium Pension Scheme with effect from 1 June 1997.
