Joe Kaeser arrives inBrazil - reaffirming Siemens' commitment to the country's growth
The great day has come! Joe Kaeser, CEO of Siemens Global, has come to Brazil to attend the World Economic Forum on Latin America and other important events related to technology and innovation in the country. Joe Kaeser's trajectory at Siemens began in 1980 and was marked by a process of constant development and evolution. For almost 40 years, Kaeser has served in a number of key Siemens growth positions, therefore in 2013, he was invited to become CEO of the company. Current global leader of Siemens, Kaeser is an icon that carries within all the values and virtues of the company. His visit is an important milestone for developing close ties between Siemens and Brazil in areas where common goals can be achieved through strategic cooperation.
In Brazil, for Brazil
“In Brazil, for Brazil.” This is one of Siemens' proudest slogans. Environmental responsibility, focused on boosting the economy and developing new jobs - besides the declared support for changes in the society - are some of the values we stand for every day. Siemens recognizes that development and progress walk hand in hand and only by recognizing what is really important for the country, we can understand our role and position within the society. Placing Brazil in the forefront and truly contributing to the country's economic and technological development is what allows us to obtain such positive results as social transformation agents. This is why during this week, Kaeser will participate in three major events that will mark the beginning of a new phase of alignment between the company and the country, especially in areas such as sustainability and technological development.
In everything we do, we must add lasting value and benefit - to shareholders, employees, customers and our business partners and to society.
