Today, urology departments perform a multitude of standard clinical procedures with help of digital X-ray technology. Imaging the urogenital tract is key to diagnose and treat many urological diseases such as kidney and bladder stone, tumors and ureteral stenosis. For both diagnostic confidence and interventional accuracy, it is very important to choose the right balance between radiation dose exposure and image quality.
UROSKOP Omnia is a fully digital X-ray table specialized for diagnosis and minimal invasive endoscopic procedures in urology. The entire urogenital tract fits in just one X-ray image with excellent quality. Due to a smaller image size two images were needed in the past, resulting now in time savings and less patient dose. Two monitirs display X-ray, endoscopy and ultrasound sid-by-side and thus provide all images the urologist needs during an intervention. A specific system design gives free patient access for urologist, anesthetist and nurse.
