participants have used the Siemens Graduate Program to launch their career at Siemens up to now.
As early as 1922, Siemens recognized that a highly qualified and motivated workforce is key to corporate success. To meet this need in the long term the "Ingenieurskreis" (engineers circle), the precursor of today's Siemens Graduate Program, was established. Then as now, it is the declared aim of the program to acquire talents with leadership potential for our business, and to support their long-term development.
Today, the Siemens Graduate Program is a two-year global entry-level and development program that targets graduates from a variety of backgrounds. It not only ensures a supply of new young professionals in its country of origin but has now been implemented in 14 countries outside Germany.
The Siemens Graduate Program remains true to its traditions but is constantly evolving. It therefore offers proven structures in a modern program.
Program participants learn about the various functions in the Company. They spend one of the eight-month work assignments outside their home country and thus have the opportunity to gain international experience. Additional offerings such as training courses and a personal mentor assist participants with their personal and professional development and career planning.
Up to now, more than 2,000 participants have used the Siemens Graduate Program to launch their career at Siemens. Present and former participants are members of a varied and international network to which they have long-term access.
