SIMATIC ET 200R
Compact module for robots in IP 65
SIMATIC ET 200R allows you to optimize your welding and handling applications for example the automotive
industry's bodyshop sector. The new, rugged module has IP65 protection, can be quickly installed, and is
easily replaced with only minimum wiring. The ET 200R is installed right on the robot, bringing PROFIBUS
all the way up to the welding tongs. Furthermore, the compact module in its cast aluminum housing has a
lot more to offer:
- Integrated repeater functionality
- Module versions: maximum of 16 digital input channels; through the use of software parameters, the
16DI can converted into 15DI/1DO, 14DI/2DO, and so on up to 8DI/8DO
- Transmission rates of up to 12 Mbit/s
- Errors can be evaluated in groups using diagnostic frames
- Optimized power-up time
- An integrated solution supplies terminating resistance
- PROFIBUS address is set on the two easily accessible M12 screw-type terminals on the front of the module
- Optional: injection of the welding transformer's analog signals (SKÜ,
KSR) at the rear of the welding
module; plug-in terminal strip on the back of the module helps speed up commissioning and servicing
