ASIsafe

The ASIsafe® safety concept facilitates the integration of safety-oriented components in a standard AS-Interface network. Depending on the application’s requirements, the "ASIsafe Solution local" (using the safety monitor) or the "ASIsafe Solution PROFIsafe" (connection of ASIsafe to PROFISafe via the DP/AS-i F-Link) can be employed.

Detecting

SIRIUS detecting devices ensure continuous control of all processes between man and machine, e.g. for monitoring protective equipment or detecting critical movements of machine parts.

Commanding and Signaling

Commanding and signaling devices help to stop machinery and plants before a situation gets out of control. For example, two-hand operation consoles provide the highest security at presses or punching machines, while cable-operated switches ensure safe shutdown using a pull wire.

Motors and plants must run – smoothly and with a high degree of reliability. This means that the area from the motor feeder to the automation level must be reliably monitored and controlled.
