Since the opening of the Hypercube in September 2012, it has been the focal point of the research city. A 250-m² "media facade" shows image films about Skolkovo. It consists of nearly 60,000 three-color LEDs from Osram subsidiary Traxon Technologies. Many other Siemens technologies make the building especially energy efficient.
