The Siemens Industry Automation Division has added two metal enclosure versions to its range of 3SE5 Sirius position switches. Designed with a high IP66/67 degree of protection, they are particularly suitable for operation in harsh industrial environments. The 31 mm narrow enclosure in accordance with EN 50047 has two or three contacts and the 56 mm wide XL enclosure in accordance with EN 50041 has up to six contacts.
