The Sinamics G120D CU 240D PN control unit from Siemens A&D now provides a Profinet version of the distributed converter available for direct connection to Ethernet networks. Due to the safety functions STO, SS1 and SLS in the CU 240D PN-F version, this safety version can be used in high-performance applications with safety-oriented requirements. The new control units operate in the performance range between 0.75 kW and 7.5 kW and with voltages between 380 and 480 V.
