I chose the FEP because it offers an unparalleled opportunity in the field of corporate finance, within an organization that is constantly working on solving the most pressing problems that our world faces today. The program seemed challenging and rewarding and, more importantly, an excellent entry point to Siemens.

On my first FEP assignment I was a part of the Performance Controlling team in the Industry Sector. Here I assisted in preparing monthly and quarterly performance measurement reports (for several business units and divisions) that enable the Sector management to take key business decisions. The role offered unique insights into the mechanics of successfully managing a multi-billion dollar organization on a daily basis. Additionally, I was involved in the investor relations efforts of the Sector, assisting the top management in their communication with external stakeholders.

I enjoy learning from my colleagues and the talent pool at Siemens is one of the best I have ever experienced. The most extraordinary experience so far has been the accessibility to the top-level management – I have had several opportunities to meet and work directly with members of the company’s top management.
