The FEP is a well-organized program with first-class personal and professional development opportunities. I was particularly interested in the challenging tasks one faces in the field of business administration, combined with interesting cutting-edge technologies. It is of course very exciting to work for an international organization, especially one such as Siemens, which has a highly diversified workforce and projects of apparently every variety.
During my first days on my assignment I went through a structured training process, giving me a thorough understanding of the photovoltaic industry and the products and services offered by Siemens Solar Power. Furthermore, I assumed clear responsibilities as a Commercial Bid Manager for certain countries as well as some extraordinary projects. This gave me the opportunity to start right away with challenging tasks. I work within an interdisciplinary team, consisting of engineers from different fields as well as team members focusing on business administration. We work closely with international staff in other regional units.
Within the FEP I met a lot of nice people and made many new friends. There is a strong networking aspect among FEP participants, which also includes leisure-time activities.
The FEP offers an extraordinary opportunity to combine challenging tasks in business administration with cutting-edge technologies.
You can only grow personally if you are also willing to accept challenges.
