The Siemens Advanced Program runs for two years and starts in the autumn of every year. The program is divided into three practical assignments, several training modules and phases of attendance at university. Thus, you will become thoroughly familiar with the procedures, strategies and concepts of Siemens. The application phase for the program entry in October 2013 will start in April 2013.
The Siemens Advanced Program is conceived to promote talent and to support cultural exchange. During this time, you will be interacting with people from different countries and backgrounds. The experience gained here will help you to learn how best to deal with various intercultural situations. You will also find out how Siemens successfully promotes international business collaboration. And who knows? You may even learn a new language.
The Siemens Advanced Program combines the experience of working with studying.
The first assignment takes place at a site in your home country. The second brings you to a Siemens site abroad. And the third assignment proceeds in your future target department where you will write your master’s thesis.
In six intensive training sessions we will impart technical knowledge and key communicative competencies to you in classroom training sessions, workshops, case studies and best-practice presentations.
We will assign an experienced manager in your field as a mentor to support you and expand your professional and personal network.
This mentor accompanies you for the duration of the program. He or she will work with you to improve your skills, assist you in planning your assignments and advise you in career matters.
At Siemens we consider you to be part of our family. With that comes trust and appreciation of your work. Therefore you will not only get your master’s degree free of charge, you will receive an attractive salary and a full-time contract right from the start.
