I have mentored and managed two SGP participants since 2005.
During the assignments the participants were responsible for several different topics. One of them was responsible for process improvements within the Gas Turbine organization. He completed his task with the use of six sigma tools and even became a six sigma green belt.The other participant was responsible for the management of a critical subcontractor within the warranty of EPC Power Plant projects. He also significantly contributed to the project management of two warranty projects. He led specific tasks during project outages for defect rectification and customer negotiations during the project close-out phase.
Effective take-over of workload, positive impact on team spirit within the organization.
It is long enough to complete a task and it is short enough to achieve several (three) different stations within a reasonable timeframe.
Ask for the biggest challenge in the future organization and try to find a task to minimize the impact of this specific topic.
