Siemens-Schuckertwerke and Saavedra, Bénard & Co. establish a branch office in Valparaiso under the name Siemens-Schuckert Ltd. (SSL).

SSL is named sole agent for Telefunken in Chile and Bolivia, serving in this capacity until 1909

SSL moves its main office to Santiago de Chile.

SSL wins the contract to build the hydroelectric power plant on Laguna Nagra.

The Chilean state development company Corporación de Fomento (Corfo) takes over 81 percent of Gildemeister’s share capital.

Siemens is involved in the construction of a 220-kV overhead line in Chile.

As a supplier for a project to equip two hydroelectric power plants, Siemens delivers four generators and the entire electrical equipment.

The Siemens unit at Gildemeister is reorganized to form the agency Ingeneria Eléctrica (INGELSAC).

Siemens supplies the motors for the two largest ore tube mills in the world, at a copper mine in northern Chile.
