Siemens has been active in Turkmenistan for over 15 years and offers a wide range of solutions and services in Turkmenistan, where it holds a leading position in the Healthcare Sector. In fiscal 2012, Siemens in Turkmenistan scored successes in all four Sectors. The company’s Representative Office supports partner contacts between Siemens and the Turkmenistan government and customers.
In fiscal 2012 (October 1, 2011 – September 30, 2012), Siemens’ sales to customers in Turkmenistan amounted to almost EUR 7.8 million and new orders totaled about EUR 4 million.
Siemens has been active in Turkmenistan for more than 15 years. The Company's branch office, which opened in 2008, handles the Healthcare and Energy business.
In 2012, the Sector supplied equipment to the Mollagara Sanatorium, diagnostic centers in the Lebap region, the Hazar and Garabogaz Hospitals, and the Hazar Policlinic. Medical equipment was also supplied to the dental center in the Presidential Palace through an extension of the contract.
