As a provider of integrated mobility solutions, the Mobility Division landed an order to replace the existing signaling systems originally supplied by competitors for Kuala Lumpur’s main transportation hub – KL Sentral, which connects the single line Kuala Lumpur Old, Simpang Pelabuhan Klang and Simpang Batu within the district. Siemens was commissioned to supply three SICAS S7 interlocking control systems for this line in order to modify the signaling layout for additional trains.
