In fiscal 2011 (October 1, 2010 – September 30, 2011), Siemens’ sales to customers in Georgia amounted to EUR 38.7 million and new orders totaled EUR 140.7 million. The Representative Office of Siemens AG Österreich in Georgia currently has five employees.

Siemens established the Representative Office in Georgia in 1997.
In 2007, responsibilities for Georgia were transferred to Siemens Österreich as a result of the new Cluster structure.

As a major player on the healthcare market with an average annual revenue of EUR 2-3 million, Siemens is successfully participating in the “150 New Hospitals” program. There will be 150 new hospitals in Georgia by the end of next year, which are being built largely by the private sector, but with some state support. All the clinics will be equipped with modern technologies.
