Our offerings include solutions for boosting pressure in oil and gas fields (depletion compression); a full range of products and systems for refineries, pipelines and floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO); compressor and pump solutions; automation and control technologies; products and solutions for power generation, water management, automation and controls; and industrial IT solutions. We support our customers in tapping remote deposits and in producing and processing oil and gas. We also offer solutions for deepwater oil and gas production. These industry-related activities are dependent upon a reliable power supply, which we deliver, according to customer specifications.

Process and other industries: We offer compression and power solutions to a wide spectrum of industries and industrial processes. Whether standard products or modular and customized compressor trains or plant solutions. With over 80 years of experience in turbomachinery, we’re also experts in seamlessly integrating turbomachines into efficient and ecofriendly total solutions as well as in managing the management of interfaces. To these industries, as well as to utilities and independent power producers, Siemens supplies industrial gas turbines with capacities of up to 50 megawatts and steam turbines with capacities of up to 250 megawatts, including compact steam turbines with capacities of up to 10 megawatts . All these components are mutually compatible for application in, for example, combined-cycle and cogeneration systems. Our cogeneration plants – which achieve a fuel efficiency rating of up to 90 percent – are conserving natural resources. And our perfectly coordinated gas and steam turbine drives are making combined-cycle power plants more efficient. We’re also the leading supplier of steam turbines specifically designed for use in solar-thermal power plants.
